Arthur Johnson
As a young college student, I met a kind man, Loveland P. Cota, who offered to mentor me in his craft. For over forty years, I have practiced the art he taught me and am grateful for the unique intellectual challenges it has provided throughout my life.
Every day and every piano is a little different and I'm constantly delighted by the novel experiences that my job brings to me.
I have tuned thousands of pianos, including concert Steinways for world class pianists who came to perform with the Reno Philharmonic...and including also very humble home pianos in need of TLC.
I'm an associate member of the Piano Technicians Guild and am active in the northern Nevada chapter. I have been tuning and servicing pianos since 1970, and hope to continue the craft for the foreseeable future.
